A visionary producer and marketing strategist, Rick Magder has left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry beginning with the foundation of Magder Entertainment, one of Canada’'s largest independent production studios. With a flair for innovative thinking, Rick has developed, produced, and marketed a wide array of media initiatives. As a creator and producer of television, feature films, commercials, documentaries, special interest programs, digital platforms and targeted digital media he combines creative production expertise with
groundbreaking marketing strategies. His work spans collaborating with Hollywood's elite to building educational and community focused projects, showcasing a unique ability to leverage media for significant impact. His experience spans both the commercial and non-profit sectors.
His projects include: Stories From My Childhood, starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Rob Lowe, Shirley Maclaine, and Gene Hackman. The award winning - Home Safe starring Martin Short distributed by Disney, The Prince Of Egypt Family Haggadah in association with DreamWorks. His documentary work led him to interviewing several U.S. Presidents. He has focused on projects that make a difference. Including films on combatting hate and bullying, and several projects that have inspired tens of thousands of acts of kindness around the world.
Rick founded Bright River Media because of his passion to explore new ways to tell stories that fuel innovation and make a difference.
